| New Structure At Digico
(February 1, 2007) The New Year sees a change in company structure for UK digital
console manufacturer, DiGiCo. This heralds a period of intense development
for the company, as it gets set to continue its growth in the digital audio
sector, and puts Bob Doyle, one of the best know figures of the audio industry,
back at the sharp end of the business.
Currently managing director, Bob will become Chief Executive,
DiGiCo (UK) Ltd, whilst Senior Sales Director James Gordon will
assume the role of Managing Director, DiGiCo (UK) Ltd. The remainder
of the management team comprises Marketing Director David Webster
and Technical Director John Stadius.
Bob's new position will utilize
his 40 years of experience, as well as his skills for maintaining
and raising company profile, to its maximum potential thus helping
to increase top line revenue generation.
"I've
enjoyed my time as Managing Director," says Bob. "But now I
want to get back to what I like best and what I'm best at,
which is spending more time with distributors and customers.
I'll continue to assist with the company's strategic
thinking going forward, with my new role letting me contribute
a more over arching approach, unshackled by the minutiae of
routine operations."
James's
natural leadership abilities place him perfectly to take on
the day-to-day administration and management responsibilities
for both the Head Office in Chessington and factory site in
Glenrothes, Scotland. It will also allow him to bring his global
market knowledge, product and sales skills to bear
"2007
is set to be an amazing year," says James. "DiGiCo will
continue to evolve as a company and grow in the marketplace.
I am honoured to take on the challenge of being Managing Director
alongside the awesome team we have in place here."
In
addition to his current role, David Webster will make full
use of his manufacturing and technical background to support
and guide the company's manufacturing and
technical operations. John Stadius, entering his 29th year of
designing and developing for DiGiCo, will have increased responsibility
for, amongst other projects, the expansion of DiGiCo connectivity,
including SDI and HDI I/O rack modules, which is planned for
launch early in 2007.
"It's essential that we have the cutting edge technology and
managerial skills in place to continue to meet our customer's
expectations so that we remain the engineer's choice," concludes
Bob. "The team at DiGiCo is more than equal to
the challenge and I am looking forward to my new role."
